The Holly Jolly Trolley Tour of Ashville

Something new for 2016. Come ride the Trolley! You can get on and off at any of our five stops and you will hear stories of the buildings, the area, and people presented by our very own Charlie Morrison and son. Tours start at 1 pm and end at 5 pm. Trolley Stops are every half hour on the hour.

Stop One —Ashville Museum 34 Long St.

Mrs. Claus — Mrs. Claus will be on hand from 1-5 pm to read to the kids and interact with them, spreading wonderful Christmas cheer.

                                                                                                Santa is at the Ashville Park this year- from 1-3 pm Kids will get a bag of candy, cookie to decorate and hot chocolate. Photos with Santa will be available for $3 each. Secret Santa shopping for kids 12-5 pm and visit the Christmas market.

Christmas Tree Lighting — Beginning at 6 pm we will kick off the ceremony by raising the flag and singing the national anthem. The lighting of the tree at Centennial Park is sponsored by your Ashville Heritage Society. We will end the night by singing some favorite carols.

Home Decorating Contest

Judging will occur on Saturday 12/3 between 6-8 p.m.  Entry forms can be picked up at the Ashville Apothecary, Seed House, Savings Bank, Pickaway Banking Center and the Ashville IGA. Entry forms must be received by 11/26/2016  First place prize $100, Second place $50, Third Place $25

Annual Cookie Sale

The club is selling 2 dozen assorted homemade cookies for $10. Each box is festively decorated with a ribbon and gift tag. Contact any club member to place an order. Ashville Area Heritage Society Annual Christmas Dinner

On December 12^th at the South Bloomfield UMC 5027 2^nd Street West, at 6:00 pm $10.00 per person, bring a $5.00 gift for man or woman for gift exchange. Guests are invited to donate non-perishable food item for the Ashville Food Pantry. RSVP by Decebmber 2  to Mona Morrison, 740-983-3166. Dinner will include turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, cole slaw, coffee, tea, and pie.
