Ashville Area Heritage Society Annual Christmas Dinner

On December 14th at the South Bloomfield UMC 5027 2nd Street West, at 6:00 pm $10.00 per person, bring a $5.00 gift for man or woman for gift exchange. Guests are invited to donate non-perishable food item for the Ashville Food Pantry. RSVP by Decebmber 2  to Mona Morrison, 740-983-3166. Dinner will include turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, cole slaw, coffee, tea, and pie. Special performance by the Circleville Men's Barbershop Chorus. Ashville Area Heritage Society Tree Lighting Ceremony

On Sunday, December 6th at the museum at 34 Main Street a tradition will be re-established. Join the Heritage Society, village, local businesses, churches, and other organizations from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The lighting of the tree will occur at 6:00 pm in Centennial Park north of the museum. Wright Street will be closed for this event and the serving of cocoa and "yummy goodies". Your participation will ensure this tradition continues.

The Holly Jolly Trolley Tour of Ashville

Something new for 2016. Come ride the Trolley! You can get on and off at any of our five stops and you will hear stories of the buildings, the area, and people presented by our very own Charlie Morrison and son. Tours start at 1 pm and end at 5 pm. Trolley Stops are every half hour on the hour.

Two modes of transportation are available.

A trolley car will provide a ten minute tour of Ashbille. It starts at the museum and includes entertainment.

A shuttle will run between Santa, the museum, and Mrs. Claus at the library.
